About the Platform
Hacoco Art Valuation provides art valuation intelligence, market research, comparable evidence, sale-route guidance, and advisory review for the Indian secondary market. The platform is designed as a decision-support system for collectors, not as a public auction house, broker-dealer, or certified appraisal authority unless expressly stated in writing.
Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under Indian law. If you use the platform on behalf of another person, estate, business, or collection, you represent that you have authority to do so.
Account and Access
Private collector access may use email magic links or OTP-based authentication through Supabase. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for any activity occurring through your account.
Valuation Outputs
Valuation outputs are informational and decision-support only. They are based on information you provide, available comparable evidence, model logic, public market records, and Hacoco’s internal analysis. Outputs may change as market data, artwork details, condition, provenance, attribution, title, or sale-route assumptions change.
No Guarantee of Value or Sale
Hacoco does not guarantee sale price, auction result, liquidity, authenticity, provenance, ownership, legal title, tax treatment, or any private sale outcome. Any market value range or auction realization estimate is indicative only.
Paid Reports and Access
Paid reports and collector access may be purchased in INR through Razorpay payment links or another online payment gateway. Report access is generally activated automatically after payment confirmation, but may require manual review in some cases.
Advisory Requests
Advisory requests allow you to ask Hacoco to review an artwork privately. Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance, sale placement, a particular valuation result, or a buyer introduction.
User-Submitted Information
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and lawfulness of submitted information, including artist name, artwork details, dimensions, medium, signature status, ownership context, provenance, images, and sale intent.
Intellectual Property
The Hacoco name, interface, report structure, methodology presentation, written analysis, and platform materials are owned by or licensed to Hacoco Ventures Private Limited. You may use your own submitted artwork information, but you may not copy, scrape, resell, or reverse-engineer the platform.
Prohibited Use
You may not use the platform for unlawful activity, fraudulent ownership claims, misleading sale representations, automated scraping, security probing, unauthorized account access, or attempts to bypass paid access controls.
Third-Party Services, including Razorpay and Supabase
The platform may use Supabase for authentication and storage, Vercel for hosting, Razorpay for payments, and other infrastructure providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy practices.
Disclaimers
The platform is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Hacoco does not warrant that data will always be complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every transaction decision.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hacoco Ventures Private Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or loss-of-opportunity damages arising from use of the platform or reliance on valuation outputs.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Hacoco Ventures Private Limited against claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your unlawful use, inaccurate submissions, breach of these terms, or violation of third-party rights.
Termination or Suspension
Hacoco may suspend or terminate access where it reasonably suspects misuse, payment issues, security risk, unlawful activity, or breach of these terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction: India / New Delhi courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts in New Delhi, India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to the platform.
